WORDS
1.Words are best friends
They comfort
Lessen burdens
Paint rainbows in hearts
Words bind souls
Make us humans
Us is you, me
Not race,
colour,
status,
ideology
2.Does the pebble not talk to you?
Does the cliff also not talk to you?
Do the birdies in their nests
High up in crags not talk to you?
Do the eels and consort
When they are doing the ribbon dance
Deep down not talk to you
While they stick on pebbles?
3.Do you not hear His Comfort
In the chirps all day
Even if gadgets are piling up
To make us IT slaves?
4. He writes his plays
On his tiny island
He is happy as his fans
Are his family and his people
He does not even think of
Getting published abroad
As if the writers of the wealthiest countries
Are the only ones blessed with all the words
Love your country
Love your artists
Love your nature
Love your people
Don’t let others rob you
Of your freedom to be you
Don’t let them colonize your mind
With their ‘expertise’ in every field
Their techno terms
Teach them how to live life instead
Like the bird and the grazing animal
